NOTICE TO BIDDERS

A. Butler D53 (hereinafter referred to as the Owner) will receive multiple prime contract bids for the following project until 2:00 pm, local time, on February 3rd, 2022 at the Buildings & Grounds Office, 2801 York Road, Oak Brook, IL 60523.

Project #21423 / 21424 – BUTLER JUNIOR HIGH AND BROOK FOREST ELEMENTARY RENOVATIONS PROJECT

B. Bids will be publicly opened and read the time noted above at the Butler SD 53 Administration Board Room

C. Contract Documents may be obtained by Bidding Contractors from Cordogan Clark & Associates, Inc., on their online plan room www.cordoganclarkplanroom.com on or after, January 12, 2022. Bidders may also contact Vesco Reprographics, Inc., www.vescorepro.com 1351 Aucutt Road, Montgomery, IL 60538, 630-896-2115, to obtain the bid documents.

D. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security in the form of Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the Base Bid (plus additive alternates) made payable to the Owner.

E. A pre-bid meeting will be on January 18, 2022 at 4:00 pm at the Butler SD 53 Administration Office Board Room located at Butler Junior High School, 2801 York Road, Oak Brook, IL 60523. A tour of Butler Junior High School will be conducted first and then a tour of Brook Forest Elementary will be conducted. Bidders are highly encouraged to attend the meeting.

F. The Contractor shall pay, if applicable, not less than the prevailing rate of wages as
established, to all laborers, workmen and mechanics in the performance of Work under this Contract
in accordance with “An Act regulating wages of laborers, mechanics and other employed under
contracts of Public Works.” 820 ILCS 130/1 et seq.

G. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informalities in bidding, and to accept the bid that is the lowest responsive, responsible bidder, which is in the best interests of the district.

H. This Notice is written in the name of the Owner by Cordogan, Clark & Associates.
