A. Community Consolidated SD #168 (hereinafter referred to as the Owner) will receive bids for
the following project until 2:00 pm, April 13, 2023 at the District Office, 21899 S. Torrence
Ave., Sauk Village, IL 60411.
Project #221019 & 221020 – BLOSSOMS FAMILY CENTER and RICKOVER
MIDDLE SCHOOL INNOVATION HUB
BID PACKAGE #1: Site Grading / Excavation / Utilities (Blossoms Family Center)
BID PACKAGE #2: Asphalt / Site Concrete (Blossoms Family Center)
BID PACKAGE #3: Rickover Science Lab Renovation
B. Bids will be publicly opened and read at the time and location noted above.
C. Bid Package documents, drawings, and specifications shall be available on or after March 29,
2023. Bidders may visit the following websites to obtain the bid documents. Printing and
shipping costs shall be the responsibility of the bidder:

D. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security in the form of Bid Bond in the amount of
10% of the Base Bid (plus additive alternates) made payable to the Owner.
E. A pre-bid meeting will be on April 5, 2023 at 3:30 p.m. at the District Office located at 21899
S. Torrence Ave., Sauk Village, IL 60411. Bidders are highly encouraged to attend the
meeting.
F. The Contractor shall pay, if applicable, not less than the prevailing rate of wages as
established, to all laborers, workmen and mechanics in the performance of Work under this
Contract in accordance with β€œAn Act regulating wages of laborers, mechanics and other
employed under contracts of Public Works.” 820 ILCS 130/1 et seq.
G. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality in bidding,
or accept the bid that, in his opinion, will serve his best interests.
H. This Notice is written in the name of the Owner by Cordogan Clark & Associates, Inc.
