21423 - Butler Jr High Gym Roof & Painting Project

NOTICE TO BIDDERS

A. Butler D53 (hereinafter referred to as the Owner) will receive bids for the following project until 2:00 pm, local time, on March 3, 2022 at the Buildings & Grounds Office, 2801 York Road, Oak Brook, IL 60523.

Project #21423 – BUTLER JUNIOR HIGH GYM ROOF AND PAINTING PROJECT

B. Bids will be publicly opened and read the time noted above at the Butler SD 53 Administration Board Room

C. Bid Package documents, drawings, and specifications shall be available on or after February 18, 2022. Bidders may visit the following websites to obtain the bid documents. Printing and shipping costs shall be the responsibility of the bidder:

D. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security in the form of Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the Base Bid (plus additive alternates) made payable to the Owner.

E. A pre-bid meeting will be on February 24, 2022 at 2:00 pm at the Butler SD 53 Administration Office Board Room located at Butler Junior High School, 2801 York Road, Oak Brook, IL 60523. A tour of Butler Junior High School will be conducted. Bidders are highly encouraged to attend the meeting.

F. The Contractor shall pay, if applicable, not less than the prevailing rate of wages as established, to all laborers, workmen and mechanics in the performance of Work under this Contract in accordance with “An Act regulating wages of laborers, mechanics and other employed under contracts of Public Works.” 820 ILCS 130/1 et seq.

G. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informalities in bidding, and to accept the bid that is the lowest responsive, responsible bidder, which is in the best interests of the district.

H. This Notice is written in the name of the Owner by Cordogan, Clark & Associates.
